چکیده
Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) is the virus that causes COVID-19 which responsible for illness infection in humans. The was first identified China 2019 and later spread to other countries worldwide. This study aims identify bioactive compounds from mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) as an antiviral agent via dual inhibitor mechanisms against two SARS-CoV-2 proteases through silico approach. three-dimensional structure of various database examined. Furthermore, all target were analyzed drug, activity prediction, virtual screening, molecular interactions, threedimensional visualization. It aimed determine potential can serve agents fight SARS-CoV-2. Results showed have prospective provide contradict inhibitory mechanisms. In summary, binding results low energy expected ability induce any protein reaction. Therefore, it allows act infection. Key words: Antiviral agent, COVID-19, Garcinia L., approach,

De novo transcriptome assembly of mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) fruit
Garcinia mangostana L. (Mangosteen), of the family Clusiaceae, is one of the economically important tropical fruits in Indonesia. In the present study, we performed de novo transcriptomic analysis of Garcinia mangostana L. through RNA-Seq technology. We obtained the raw data from 12 libraries through Ion Proton System. Clean reads of 191,735,809 were obtained from 307,634,890 raw reads. The raw...
متن کاملRNA-seq analysis of mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) fruit ripening
Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) is known for its delectable taste and contains high amount of xanthones which have been reported to possess anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and other bioactive properties. However, stage-specific regulation of mangosteen fruit ripening has never been studied in detail. We have performed a comparative transcriptomic analysis of three ripening stages (Stage 0, 2...
متن کاملAntioxidant xanthones from the pericarp of Garcinia mangostana (Mangosteen).
As part of ongoing research on cancer chemopreventive agents from botanical dietary supplements, Garcinia mangostana L. (commonly known as mangosteen) was selected for detailed study. Repeated chromatography of a CH2Cl2-soluble extract of the pericarp led to the isolation of two new highly oxygenated prenylated xanthones, 8-hydroxycudraxanthone G (1) and mangostingone [7-methoxy-2-(3-methyl-2-b...

Objective(s): This study aims to evaluate the activity of mangosteen peels extract (MPE) as protection agent on induced-glucose mesangial cells (SV40 MES 13 cell line (Glomerular Mesangial Kidney, Mus Musculus)). Materials and Methods: MPE was performed based on maceration method. Cytotoxic assay was performed based on MTS (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophen...
متن کاملIn Silico Analysis of Sea Cucumber Bioactive Compounds as Anti-Breast Cancer Mechanism Using AutoDock Vina
In recent years, the potential of marine natural products as anticancer agents, specifically for breast cancer, has been examined. The sea cucumber (Holothuroidea: Echinodermata) is known to contain triterpene glycosides, which have shown anticancer or cytotoxic activity. In this research, molecular docking of selected sea cucumber bioactive compounds was conducted on five receptor targets that...
